This Privacy Policy explains how team handles information in connection with the Facebook Live Printer desktop application (the "App"). The App helps merchants process orders placed as comments during Facebook Live broadcasts, print order receipts to a connected printer, and send confirmation messages to customers via Messenger.

Summary: The App runs entirely on your own computer. The data it processes — Facebook comments, orders, and your Facebook access tokens — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us or to any third-party server we operate. The only external service the App communicates with is Facebook (Meta), and only to perform the actions you request.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to the merchant who installs and operates the App (the "Operator"), and describes how the App handles data belonging to the Operator's Facebook account and to the customers who interact with the Operator's Facebook Page during a live broadcast.

2. Information the App Accesses and Processes

    2.1 Facebook account and Page data

    When you log in with Facebook, the App requests the following permissions and accesses the associated data:

• pages_show_list — the list of Facebook Pages you manage (Page name, ID, category).
• pages_read_engagement and pages_read_user_content — public comments on your live videos, including the commenter's display name, Facebook user ID, comment text, and timestamp.
• pages_manage_posts — access to your Page's live videos and posts so the App can identify active broadcasts.
• pages_messaging — the ability to send confirmation messages, on your behalf, to customers who have messaged or commented on your Page.

     The App also obtains and stores Facebook access tokens (a user token and Page access tokens) that are required to perform these actions.

   2.2 Order and customer data

   When a comment is identified as an order, the App stores the following on your device:

• Commenter username and Facebook user ID
• The original comment text
• Parsed order details (e.g. product code, size, quantity)
• Order status, print status, and message-sent status, with timestamps

   2.3 Application logs and settings

   The App keeps local diagnostic logs and your configuration settings (such as printer preferences, parsing rules, and the selected Page).

3. How Information Is Used

The App uses the information described above solely to provide its core functionality:

• To display and monitor comments on your live broadcasts
• To extract order information from those comments
• To print order receipts to your connected printer
• To send order-confirmation messages to customers via Messenger, at your direction
• To store an order history so you can track and export your sales

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or resale.

4. Where Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on the computer where the App is installed:

• Orders and comments are saved in a local SQLite database (orders.db).
• Facebook access tokens and settings are stored in the App's local configuration store.
• Logs are stored on your device (see the App documentation for exact locations per operating system).

We do not operate a cloud service and we do not receive, collect, or have access to any of this data.

5. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Information leaves your device only in these cases:

• Facebook (Meta): The App communicates with the Facebook Graph API to read comments, list Pages and videos, and send Messenger messages. This is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy and the Facebook Platform Terms.
• Your printer: Order details are sent to the printer you connect (via USB or your local network) to produce receipts.
• Exports you initiate: If you export orders (e.g. to CSV), the resulting file is created on your device and is thereafter under your control.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because data is stored locally, you control its retention. You can delete order and comment history from within the App, and you may remove all stored data by uninstalling the App and deleting its data folder. Revoking access: You can revoke the App's access to your Facebook account at any time from your Facebook account settings under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations.

7. Data Deletion Requests

Facebook requires that we provide a way to request data deletion. Because we do not store your data on our servers, deletion is performed on your own device as described in Section 6. 8. Security

Access tokens and order data are stored on your local device. You are responsible for securing the computer on which the App is installed (e.g. with a login password and disk encryption). Because the App runs locally and communicates with Facebook over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, your data is not exposed to any intermediary server operated by us.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for business use by merchants and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
